Verdict

ALNADIR represents last year’s winning yard and will be sharper today having attempted to make all over 1m2f here on his seasonal debut. He was wearing cheekpieces when landing a maiden at Nottingham last year and the headgear is back on for this. Fearless Warrior and Jersey Wonder are both struggling to rediscover last year’s best form and Group Stage’s recent placed efforts came in soft ground. Queen Constantine’s earlier success came over a mile at Nottingham and Johnny Kidd makes his handicap debut having found one too good at Goodwood.
