Verdict

Potala Palace made a promising start at Fairyhouse and was only caught close home by Justifier over this trip at Leopardstown. Aidan O'Brien has a good record in this and the Galileo colt KELLS, closely related to four winners, will be all the better for his debut at Gowran where he wasn't given a hard time. Mighty Mirage has been looking as though this longer trip would suit while there are some nicely-bred youngsters from in-form yards entered. Mere Catherine will stay middle-distances in time while Perry Owens is a half-brother to seven winners. Jessica Harrington has her two-year-olds in tremendous form so both Recall The Show, a E105,000 yearling and a half-brother to two winners, and Justina, the first foal of a 6f winner, should be monitored in the market.
