Verdict
The trio for the shortlist are LITTLE CALLA, Sarasota Sunshine and Midnight Fantasy and we will give the vote to Little Calla. The selection is making her turf debut today and also her handicap bow, but she went close when last seen out and she looks really progressive and we think she can continue her upward curve and get her head in front. Sarasota Sunshine has yet to race on ground as quick as this which would be a slight cause for concern, but he is in decent form and if he handles conditions then he would have a big chance. Midnight Fantasy won at Ripon two starts ago and she had excuses at Nottingham last time when she was denied a clear run. There could be more to come from Rae Guests' filly, while a market move for the Stuart Williams-trained Itsher should be noted. A tough race to close proceedings and the narrow vote goes to Little Calla.
