SPRING ROMANCE has returned from a gelding operation in excellent form, striking up a good rapport with Jack Duern to land two of his three starts this term. If anything, the drop to the minimum trip could prove beneficial and the hike to a mark of 65 is acceptable. Kodiac Express disappointed last time but has every chance on a string of previous runner-up efforts which saw her go close on each occasion. She looks one for the short-list along with Jonnysimpson and the unexposed Bobby's Charm. Haveoneyerself should be monitored for any market support off bottom weight.
