King's Thought has gone from strength to strength lately, but in winning twice over a mile on the Polytrack he has gone up 9lb. However, he still arguably not exposed on fast ground that he clearly loves and though by no means a confident selection at the weights, he is taken to complete the hat-trick here. Course and distance winner Noble Pursuit could be the one to give the selection most to do. Racing here off a mark 5lb lower than when landing a classified contest here last June, and with the ground to his liking, plus no qualms about fitness, he should go well. One who has been going well enough on the fibresand is Yorker, a winner over seven furlongs at Wolverhampton last time out. Hoever, he has never yet won on turf, where his form suggests that the ground will be too fast here and so he is overlooked. One who will appreciate the ground though, is Bond Diamond. In tremendous form last spring, Paul Webber's gelding improved a stone during the year to end the season on 74. Still on that mark, and with conditions to suit he can go well, though may just need the run. Of the remainder, Barolo possesses ability, but would probably prefer easier ground, while Skylarker looked like he was going to be one with the ability to win a few prizes judged on his maiden win a couple of seasons ago, but has been largely disappointing since.
