    Verdict

Baadi won a maiden by five lengths over 1m2f here on his reappearance and followed up in a handicap over course and distance last month. A 4lb rise is not excessive and he's probably still improving but he may find SPARRING a tough nut to crack. Beaten just the once in five career starts, the Godolphin gelding might have preferred a slightly quicker surface but should have the class to cope and fitness won't be a problem. Passover tries a longer trip but appeared to be running into form here last time and First Sitting should strip fitter for his run at Doncaster in April.
