It's a long way for Les Eyre to send Alisia R, who created a 25/1 surprise at Musselburgh last month before her saddle slipped on a return visit, and she could still be well handicapped. But LETHAL ANGEL has been showing very good speed in all of her recent races, just failing to last out 6f in the latter two runs. She may just have the legs of these with her young rider's claim a plus. Bashiba has managed to win five times though not since last summer. His close third at Doncaster last summer puts him in the frame for this while last year's winner Look Surprised is on a 2lb lower mark, though ran poorly on fast ground at Bath last month.
