Verdict

The withdrawal of Hawthorn Rose leaves this open for WHISPERING BEAUTY to follow up her Newmarket victory over a mile, where she made most. William Haggas' filly is bred for speed but wasn't stopping at HQ and, unless there's something decent among the newcomers, she will be very difficult to catch. Gallatin has run twice over this trip at Chelmsford and did better last time but the main threat could come from Strelka, a half-sister to the Derby and Arc winner Workforce.
