Verdict
With listed aspirations Godolphin's SPOKESPERSON is given the vote in a trappy maiden with Bryonic feared after a nice debut run while Aldwick Bay has to make the list from a yard who have mopped up these events this term. Related to plenty of top class sorts the pick made a pleasing debut at Goodwood when held by a potentially smart stablemate. This is likely to be a little easier and he'll need to win a race like this to make his listed target a reality. Bryonic has no such big entries but was only denied a short-head on his debut. He has plenty of nice winners in his family tree so he should improve and go close again. Aldwick Bay will probably be better over further in time and wasn't that brilliant on debut but Richard Hannon's record with his two-year-olds this season offers hope of better. Piceano is from a yard in form but will have to improve on his first run while Sea The Flames looks best of the newcomers and should run a nice opening effort. A wide open contest but Spokesperson has the right ticks in the right boxes.
