There is little to choose between Zouk and Farleigh on the form that they have shown first time out and they probably have the best form of those to have raced previously but it may be worth taking a chance on the newcomer YOUNG STAR GAZER. Henry Cecil's colt is bred to be decent being a son of Observatory out of a Nashwan mare and he may be good enough to win this on his racecourse debut. David Simcock's Nesayem ran better on his final start as a two-year-old on the Polytrack at Lingfield and he has every chance if able to reproduce a similar level of form on his first start at three and on his turf debut. Paul Cole's Darwin's Dragon will need to step up on his juvenile form to trouble the judge, while Richard Hannon's Formula was well held on his reappearance and makes limited appeal. Walter Swinburn's Zouk made a pleasing debut at Ripon last month and has to be considered along with Andrew Balding's Farleigh, who ran well on his only start at two when chasing home Tobond at Kempton in October. Both have every chance but it may be worth taking a chance on the newcomer Young Star Gazer.
