In depth

Verdict

Regular Income is turned out again quickly after a fine run in a hot handicap at Epsom on Friday and must go close if that effort hasn’t left its mark but this is another competitive affair. Victory Chime attempts to follow up last week’s Leicester victory under a penalty and Rotherwick is only a pound higher than when successful over course and distance a year ago and much better off at the weights than when beaten by Victory Chime at Chepstow in August. LAWN RANGER just came up short off this mark on Turf at Lingfield having been in excellent form on the all-weather. He’s much improved and deserves another chance. Petrastar is preferred to Grapevine of the others.
