In depth

Verdict

Placed at Lingfield and Doncaster in her first season, NIGHT SECRET has the highest rating of these and looks the likely winner if fully wound-up. Usain Boat kept good company in the first part of last season, winning at Newmarket and then finishing second in the Woodcote at Epsom. He’s not taken to the all-weather this year and would have every chance if a switch back to Turf sparks a revival. Sirius Slew has found only one too good on three occasions and is also a threat but Mr Buttons has already been beaten in sellers and a claimer.
