DUBAI CREST won on his reappearance last year and can repeat the feat, primarily at the expense of Franco Is My Name and Kidlat. Amanda Perrett has her horses in good form and this course and distance winner is now back down to the same mark that he won his last race from. Kidlat has been in cracking form since joining Alan Bailey and is not discounted despite looking high enough in the weights now, Franco Is My Name should be crowned the all-weather horse of the year after four straight wins but he has a little to prove now back on the turf off a mark of 85, whilst Tinshu and Caster Sugar should strip fitter for their recent Doncaster reappearances. Wiggy Smith and Putra One are respected at different ends of the age scale, Aspro Mavro landed a touch at Yarmouth last month but will find this tougher as he looks for win number two, whilst At Wits End is unexposed but unproven away from Wolverhampton. The well-handicapped Ramona Chase is considered, but in the end the vote comes down on Dubai Crest.
