Charlies Future gets the call over Nirvana Swing and Terrible Tenant, with Meehan and Rosses Point noted as well. Named in honour of the former Michael Dickinson star Silver Buck, it is very unlikely that anything here will ever match his achievements, but Charlies Future is put forward as the answer. Robert Alner's charge was very, very lucky to collect at Exeter on what was his first start for the stable, as he was gifted the race when Out The Back slipped up with the line in sight. Mind you, the selection was closing strongly at the finish, and would have been fancied today anyway. He gets a good chance to score on merit here, and can do so at the expense of Nirvana Swing. The latter hails from the stable that won this event last year, and can go well fresh. Terrible Tenant has been in good order but takes a step up in grade, while Meehan has his fair share of weight. Rosses Point should not be discounted entirely, given his Welsh yard's form at present, but Charlies Future is just that bit fitter and can make it count.
