Joe Deane can come out on top over Original Fly, with Lizzie Bathwick, Missy Moscow and Haarihawkan the other main contenders. Daryl Jacob has been in terrific form in the saddle since rejoining Robert Alner, but is picking up some nice outside rides as well, and his booking for Joe Deane is a big positive. The Mark Coombe-trained gelding was amateur-ridden when making a successful return from a six-month break at Exeter recently, and although the bare form is moderate, he can only improve for the run. The going was fast last time, but he is proven with cut in the ground as well, and should go close. Original Fly will appreciate the step up in trip after finishing second to the more fancied Matt The Thrasher on his return at Taunton three weeks ago, but he is hard to win with, and will do well to add to the stable's recent impressive haul. Lizzie Bathwick ran out steam behind Kerstino Two at Taunton and will be better over this shorter trip, while the rest make little or no appeal. For the winner we return to Joe Deane.
