In depth

Verdict

Mighty Moose has struggled throughout the winter racing on ground much slower than he prefers. Beaten a long way on recent starts, he put back to back wins together, winning on his final start last season and his seasonal debut in Novermber, both wins achieved on good ground. With question marks over his rivals he has a perfect oppertunity to get back on the score sheet. Massini Sunset has struck up a profitable partnership with his young rider but does appear to relish testing conditions and for that reason we will pass him over today while Just Jaffa made a winning chasing debut at Towcester last time but hung noticably in the latter stages, possibly due to wilting stamina on what was his seasonal debut. The front two drew well clear in that contest and the second Tacinja appears a horse open to plenty of improvement. Just Jaffa is the one to beat but we will oppose him with Mighty Moose.
