Palouse goes from strength to strength and can make it four victories in a row, Cameron Bridge, Tom Costalot and Tresor De Mai appear to be the main dangers. Rob Buckler's eight-year-old put up the most impressive of his wins over course and distance earlier this month when easily accounting for Dragon King. He defied his penalty with a victory over three miles next time, but is much better over this shorter trip and gets a confident vote. Cameron Bridge finished runner up to Day Du Roy back in May, with today's rival Tom Costalot back in third. On similar terms today Cameron Bridge should come out on top again, but both should figure in the finish. As should Tresor De Mai from the Martiin Pipe yard, if he can recapture his best form of last season that included a six length fifth behind Supreme Catch in a valuable Ascot chase. Palouse though, has taken advantage of some lenient handicapping and can go in again off the current mark.
