In a very tricky novices hurdle Marjina could be the one to side with, Patches and Continental appear to be the main dangers. Emma Lavelle's mare has shown a liking for this course having finished a close up second behind Kiwi Babe, and filling the same position behind Chamoss Royale. She hasn't raced since March, but goes well fresh and will be difficult to beat here. Continental was runner up in a Warwick bumper and should go well, but may need more experience. Patches, on the other hand, has run well in three strong novice hurdles and will appreciate this drop in grade. Emanate is from the same stable as Patches and may prove best of the rest having chased home Flying Falcon in a bumper last season. This isn't the strongest of contests and Marjina should be good enough to lose her maiden tag.
