Verdict

The penny dropped with Haldon Hill last season and he won three times. Soft ground holds no fears for the 10-year-old but he usually needs a run. Pilsdon Pen ran better than the final results suggests at Warwick and Gingerbred will also improve for a fifth at Exeter but FRAGRANT DELITIEP should be approaching peak fitness and goes well around here. He’s plummeted down the weights and can finally take advantage. Tamaris is on a hat-trick but rising up the handicap while Peter Summers has never placed on board Balko Saint. Moytier was third at Hereford but this is a much stronger contest.
