In depth

Verdict

Not a jot of form to go on and GOTHAM CITY is a hopeful selection at this stage. David Pipe has an impressive 23 per cent strike rate over the past five seasons in these contests and has scored with two of his three bumper runners in the past few days. Jeremy Scott is capable of readying one in a bumper so keep an eye on The Snappy Poet in the market too, whilst Richard Johnson is an interesting booking for Sirrah Star. Dan Skelton has made a fine start to his training career and Bjornlucky is his representative here. The only three-year-old in the line-up, the Key Of Luck gelding receives plenty of weight all round and should definitely be carefully monitored in the market.
