In depth

Verdict

RICHMOND totes a 7lb penalty for an easy Lingfield win last time and has a considerable burden to shoulder here. He faces very different conditions now but has handled quicker ground before and looks just the sort that his trainer could run up one of her typical sequences with as there should be plenty more to come after just the two runs over fences. Swincombe Stone needs to improve on his hurdling form, Highbury High must back up a much better effort last time when showing his first form in nine starts and Kirbys Glen has a notable absence to contend with. Therefore, Material Boy looks the likeliest threat to the selection despite a rather disappointing effort last time as his overall profile is relatively appealing in the contest of this contest.
