In depth

Verdict

Many believed Handyman a shade unlucky when beaten a short head by Satshoon last time out and is weighted here to reverse that form. Both have run well here before and there will be little between them here. A surprise TEAMtalk selection here is Walter's Destiny who raced out of his depth and out of the handicap last time out in the valuable Badger Beer Chase but rarely runs a bad race at this track and looks on a decent mark. He needed a debut run last season and he could upset his more fancied rivals here. Lanmire Tower put in a fair performance on his seasonal debut and his debut for Alan King last time out at Stratford. At his best he would have an excellent chance at these weights and could be the alternative to the selection. Carryonharry has to be respected from a powerful yard and this trip will suit though the thinking is he is not too well handicapped at present. Old favourite Eau De Cologne has not reproduced his best form of late and hails from an out-of-form yard.
