In depth

Verdict

Quarenta is 2lb lower than his last winning mark but has pulled up the last twice and Captain Chaos’ recent record is even more off-putting. Premier D'troice has struggled in handicap company so far but Favori De Sivola is thriving having won his last two and four of his last six, including two here. DESTINEE ROYALE had jumped boldly out in front on her reappearance at Cheltenham until stumbling and falling five out. She may take some pegging back here if putting in a clear round with Legends Gold probably overdue some leniency from the handicapper. Colorado Doc can be forgiven his run in the Welsh Grand National but was beaten 24 lengths at Chepstow earlier when a pound lower.
