In depth

Verdict

Family Pot is just 1lb higher than when scoring over the course and distance on his chasing debut in November though his rider claimed 3lb. He was caught close home by Ivilnoble over slightly further at Hereford earlier this month and can turn the tables. The Toojumpa has won over the trip and her form figures would look much better if her jumping had held up. The veteran STEEL WAVE wins his share, jumps well and stays the trip so looks the one to beat though winning point-to-pointer Earcomesbob hasn't had much experience under Rules and is looking reasonably handicapped.
