Most of these enter the fray in reasonable shape with both Terresita and Glimpse Of Gala in winning form. The former, a winner over 2m on her debut at Fakenham, returned there to score impressively over today's trip on New Year's Day. She's been raised 8lb but will be difficult to keep out of the frame. The latter has won two of her last three over shorter but hasn't been stopping so the longer trip shouldn't be a problem. TEQUILA BLAZE beat today's rival Jubilympics easily over the trip at this level at Ascot then found softer going just against her in a better race at Kempton. With her rider claiming 10lb, she looks the one to beat. Malaita won a bumper here in May and wasn't beaten far over timber on a return visit last month while Exeter winner So Said I led for a long way on her handicap debut at Ascot.
Glimpse Of Gala 14-1 (11-8) Chased leaders early, mid-division after 6th, headway chasing leaders before next, left close 2nd and badly hampered by faller at the last, rallied to lead final 110 yards, won going away, won at Warwick 2m 5f hcp (4) sft in Dec beating Jaytee (10-11) by 2 1/2l, 14 ran.
Terresita (IRE) 9-4fav (11-9) Close up, went 2nd 3 out(normal 4 out), led next, soon clear(hurdle in straight omitted, so only 9 jumped), won at Fakenham 2m 7f hcp (4) sft in Jan beating Dynamite Kentucky (11-12) by 16l, 6 ran.
Malaita 11-2 (10-10) Handy, raced keenly, pressed leader 3 out, pushed along and not fluent 2 out, kept on but always held after last, 4th of 15, 2 1/2l behind Holly Hartingo (10-10) at Ludlow 2m 5f (4) gs in Dec.
So Said I 13-2 (11-1) Led, tracked leader 2nd, led narrowly after 3 out, slightly hampered by loose horse home turn, pushed along before 2 out, headed after 2 out, ridden before last, kept on one pace, 4th of 16, 7 3/4l behind Ardhill (10-10) at Ascot 3m hcp (4) gs in Dec.
Jersey Lady (FR) 9-1 (11-12) Waited with in rear, hit 4th, gained a place before 4 out, went 4th 3 out, plugged on into modest 3rd run-in, no chance with leading duo, 3rd of 6, 7l behind Midnight Mary (10-10) at Doncaster 3m hcp (4) gs in Dec.
Jubilympics 14-1 (10-13) Rear-division, steady headway out wide chasing leaders before 3 out, outpaced before next, plugged on, 5th of 11, 16 3/4l behind Vienna Court (11-12) at Cheltenham 2m 5f hcp (3) gs in Dec.
Lily Glitters 4-1 (11-6) Towards rear, behind 6th, plugged on from 2 out, no chance, 9th of 11, dist behind Manintheshadows (11-5) at Doncaster 3m hcp (5) gs in Jan.
Tequila Blaze 4-1 (11-5) Held up, headway going well after 3 out, ridden 2 out, hung right approaching last, kept on flat, 2nd of 7, 5 1/2l behind Emmpressive Lady (11-4) at Kempton 3m 1f hcp (2) sft in Dec.
