The mares-only novices' chase can go to Chamoss Royale, with Nas Na Riogh rated as her biggest danger. The selection has already won over hurdles, at this venue, and returned for the season with a fair third here 12 days ago. She is only a four-year-old but has clearly been earmarked for chasing and looks set to go well in this race. Turning to the others and Native Daisy's form is solid if unspectacular while Angel Delight looked very promising over fences when last seen a year ago, but has that absence to overcome. Cillamon has also shown promise, in bumpers, but appears to have had problems. Gildorans Spice is hard to fancy and Lady Harriet has lost her way it seems since winning over hurdles at Plumpton in February. This leaves Nas Na Riogh. A high-class juvenile novice hurdler, she has suffered from sore shins over the last 18 months or so. That said, she has plenty of ability and also has the size to jump fences. She rates an interesting recruit but, for today, we will side with Chamoss Royal.
