Patches, Toomebridge and Lord Olympia catch the eye here, with the vote going to Patches. Lord Olympia looked a decent hurdling prospect when winning on his debut in this sphere at Stratford on his debut and Patches showed that he had clearly benefited from his breathing operation when comfortably scoring over course and distance last time. Toomebridge is the only other one that can be given a chance and he was a little unlucky not to score at Warwick last time as the extended trip and testing going caught him out in the closing stages after he had travelled well for much of the race, although the form of that race took a knock on Tuesday. The drop in trip could well suit today but we reckon that the other pair will get the better of him, with Patches just shading the vote.
