Dadsintrouble, who is also declared at Haydock, won over the minimum trip here in April and over this trip at Haydock last time. He's been raised a massive 12lb but is progressing at a rate of knots. Winning bumper Persian Delight has only had two starts over timber so it's significant that he comes here for his handicap debut over a longer trip. He could be well in off a mark of 123 but this can go to the consistent MIDNIGHT SAPPHIRE. Victor Dartnall's mare completed a double in lesser company at Newton Abbot in October and has been placed in much stronger events, including in a Class 2 handicap at Kempton in December. Walt went up 7lb for his victory in this grade at Fontwell and didn't appear to handle the extra on his next start on this track while it's a long time since Spice Fair won and he's still on a much higher mark.
