Verdict

Don Bersy is improving as he beat an odds-on chance at Sandown last month and followed up under a penalty at Warwick. Most Celebrated easily got off the mark in a maiden at Wetherby on his debut over hurdles but a line through the second suggests he’s closely matched with Final Choice, who had a subsequent winner behind when successful at Newbury in December but was a big disappointment next time on the same track. ADMIRAL BARRATRY’s Enghien conqueror Invicter later won a Grade 2 and was second in a Grade 1. He has had a break and has his first run in the UK but his yard has won this with French-breds in two of the last seven years so he could be the value getting weight. Zalvados finished ahead of Final Choice on his hurdles bow but was beaten 10 lengths when second again at Carlisle.
