In depth

Verdict

Red Brook Lad is the obvious, if very short-priced, selection to bring up another win here, with Mrs Be and Trade Off the only others who make appeal in opposition. The selection has carried all before him in this sphere, and finished four lengths to the good of Trade Off when the pair met over 2m 5f here last week. He jumps well, loves the track, trip and ground and he looks a good thing. Trade Off is a consistent sort from a yard who does well in hunts, but who clearly has a fair bit to find, while Mrs Be has been largley disappointing since winning at Plumpton 12 months ago and is best watched at present. But Red Brook Lad goes from strength to strength and can score.
