In an interesting, if pretty weak affair, Devil's Teardrop gest the call ahead of Polish Legend, Twentytwosilver, Spectacular Hope, Titian Flame and Top Trees. The form of the selection's Worcester second last time certainly stands up to inspection in the context of this race and, with a good claiming rider booked, he can run well again. Much as Polish Legend has three lengths to find with Spectacular Hope, who was registering her first win in a light career to date, based on their selling handicap hurdle runs at Exeter last time, he is now seven pounds better off at the weights and they can both run well again. Craobh Rua has shown some hurdling promise and returns to that sphere after a run over fences, while Titian Flame and Top Trees are possible improvers after showing some promise also. Twentytwosilver also has chances if getting back to the form of his last but one, while Senna da Silva and Berengario are closely weighted based on their recent Hereford runs, with Spreewald pulled up, but that was not a great a race. Then again, neither is this, so chances can be given once again. Finally, it is interesting to see the three-year-old La Concha in the line up, but others are preferred by us. Most of all we like the look of Devil's Teardrop.
