Slaney Star has been beaten twice in sellers recently but this is little better and Jim Best's gelding has to go on the short-list in first-time blinkers. BOOMTOWN and Cash Injection are the pair that arrive with the best form and the former has already won on heavy going this season at Huntingdon. He's 8lb higher now but Gerald Quinn claims back 7lb of that and Claire Dyson's charge is probably the one to beat. Cash Injection, second at Exeter and Fakenham in January, also has a claimer on board and can't be ignored but Torgamah Lad continues to disappoint. General Girling is still a maiden and looks a thorough stayer but will be staying on when others have cried enough.
