Spot Fine has run 14 times over hurdles without winning and has a long absence to overcome. His future lies over fences but Afterclass, who fell when still in touch at Thurles, has scope for further progress over hurdles. KYMIN'S WAY has a penalty for her bumper success but produced easily her best run over timber when runner-up to Rock's Field at Punchestown last time, form that should prove good enough for this. Bless N'Ject is also penalised and hasn't jumped fluently in his three races over timber and along with Sizing Coal, will be better suited when tackling longer trips over fences, a remark that also applies to winning point-to-pointer Who Let De Dogsout.
