Verdict
Plenty of these have obvious chances and former point-to-pointer Ballyhampshire Man is sure to have his supporters having obliged recently over course and distance. Present Potential was a creditable third on that occasion but he's not really advertised the form so we'll side with ERRITT LAKE. Dessie Hughes' veteran has clearly had a number of training troubles along the way, and while his recent form isn't anything to write home about, the trainer applies a visor in the hope of rediscovering some of the ability that he demonstrated as a younger horse. Count Salazar has been knocking on the door for some time and his rider's claim could prove invaluable. Jakros was a useful hurdler on his day and Noel Meade continues to persevere with the eight-year-old.
