Claude Greenwood, who landed a Leicester claimer in May, was beaten 10l in a Yarmouth seller subsequently before stumbling at the start in a handicap there last month. Excellent Addition found 6f too short a Ripon but Marcus Caesar has to be respected after a good run at Ayr where he would have finished closer but for hanging badly at the bend. LUCKY MOUNTAIN was having his 13th start when runner-up at Yarmouth last time, his best run to date. He was in the lead at this trip and should have enough pace to hang on this time.
