In depth

Verdict

Baily Moon is still a maiden after 13 career starts but ran his best race for some time when runner-up at Tipperary and should find a race soon. Dual hurdles winner Go It Alone wasn't far behind at Tipperary though appeared to have every chance though a couple of chasing newcomers catch the eye. Milsean, runner-up in the 2015 Albert Bartlett in 2015 behind Martello Tower, has never fulfilled his potential but should do better over the bigger obstacles, a remark that also applies to MAHLER TEN. Noel Meade's charge is a half-brother to the high-class chaser Native River and has always looked likely to do better over the bigger obstacles and last week's run at Killarney will have put him straight for this.
