In depth

Verdict

WARHEAD was looking a very progressive chaser after beating today's rival Jacks Island by 10 lengths at Clonmel in February and something must have ailed him when he finished tailed off there last time. He can return to winning ways, especially as the form has worked out well with Jacks Island going on to score on the same track. The Hard Hat would prefer more testing conditions while Amy's Song has a very long absence to overcome though she did perform with credit on her reappearance last year. The lightly-raced Farmaland was having only his second start over fences when landing a beginners' event at Down Royal and has more to give and he holds West Ship Master on that run.
