Katmai River landed a double last month and was not beaten far at Kempton last week. However, he's stepping up in class here and QADAR is preferred. Alan McCabe's charge doesn't win often these days but scored at Lingfield in February and Nora Looby's claim allows him to race off a lower mark today. Copperwood is 3lb higher than when winning over C&D last month but should still figure along with Not My Choice, who will have come on for his recent comeback at Doncaster. Double Carpet is another to consider in an open contest.
