In depth

Verdict

Broughtons Paradis was winning only his second race when beating Yossi here last time and a follow up looks unlikely, while Laura Land has recorded just the one victory in 21 starts. Kipchak has been running well at around this trip in plating company and could figure, but a chance is taken on MCBIRNEY staying the distance. He's never threatened in three runs over shorter trips this year but is a half-brother to a middle-distance winner in France and Paul D'Arcy's charge could prove a different proposition here. Ghufa looks best of the rest on his seasonal return.
