In depth

Verdict

This is easily the best race on the card and it looks wide-open. Ellie Mac is eased in grade and could easily bounce back to winning ways in cheekpieces. Cloudy Morning has been a model of consistency and is closely matched with Crazyheart on their recent run together here over 2m. A case can be made for The Jam Man on one piece of form and You Can't Catch Me arrives off the back of a win at Thurles. BATTLING SPIRIT is jumping fences late in life but has adapted well to the new challenge. Jamie Codd rode him to victory at Thurles last time and keeps the partnership intact.
