In depth

Verdict

Winning point-to-pointer and bumper Bardenstown Lad didn't quite have the pace for a Listowel bumper on good ground but will be much more at home here. All About Joe stepped up to this trip for the first time here a month ago and ran his best race to date while Courting Flow looked a dour stayer on testing ground at Tipperary and some rain would help. John Adams, a moderate point-to-pointer, made an excellent handicap debut over timber when having a real battle with the in-form Chelseas Friend over this trip at Kilbeggan and should make a bold bid but the vote goes to ONE FOR JOE, who was staying on very strongly over 2m4f at Down Royal and has no problems with this trip. Miss Clogher was well supported at Tramore but found one too good and tackles the trip for the first time though she's won between the flags.
