In depth

Verdict

Lucky Tenner landed a 2m2f Limerick bumper on heavy ground and his last two placed efforts have been over 2m4f so he could find this on the short side. Knight Of Malta hasn't progressed since a close second at Gowran in March and was beaten a long way into third at Tipperary last time. Winning bumper Eyewitness drops back to the minimum after being well beaten over 2m3f while dual all-weather winner Adnap has been in poor form on the Flat since two moderate runs over hurdles. VERMILION CLIFFS is by Galileo out of a Group 1 winner so wouldn't have been expected to be running in a maiden hurdle at Wexford as a four-year-old. He's only had three runs on the Flat, scoring at Dundalk in October, and can make a successful hurdles debut.
