In depth

Verdict

A competitive opener in which the track’s leading trainer Jimmy Moffatt runs three. Brian Hughes rides The Blame Game while Jelski ran well in a higher grade here on Saturday behind a stablemate but Charlotte Jones partners Aptly Put, who led over the last here four days ago, and he might be the pick of the trio. Tossapenny has switched stables but last month’s Perth runner-up Rubytwo has claims and I'm To Blame has dropped to a tempting mark. ROXBORO ROAD has rocketed up the weights and only one of his recent victories has come over hurdles but Ben Haslam has coaxed him back to his best and there is a chance he could outclass these with Too Much To Ask penalised for Monday’s win.
