Verdict

Champagne Gold is a smart hurdler on his day but didn't show much in two starts over fences last year. Stablemate True Faith made a promising start over fences at Limerick in May while another from the yard, Leac An Scail Lady, almost made all on her chasing debut at Tramore when caught close home over that 2m5f trip. Genois looked a likely future winner when runner-up over 2m here but jumped poorly when beaten a long way into third at Ballinrobe. Everglow has more experience than most of these which should stand him in good stead but a chance is taken with DADS LAD. Brian Hayes was on board when he completed a double over timber at Cork in November and has been recalled for his chasing debut.
