Verdict

Winning bumper PERCEVAL LEGALLOIS was twice narrowly beaten over 2m4f before falling three out when holding every chance over this track and trip. He can get off the mark over timber in a moderate race in which winning point-to-pointer Born Famous should do better after staying on over 2m5f on his hurdling debut at Downpatrick. Westcoastinformant never got close enough to mount a challenge over 2m3f at Punchestown but was going on at the finish while Glendaars Star belied odds of 200/1 with a good run over 2m4f at Killarney.
