NonRunner

In depth

Verdict

Quicksand has had just the four runs and looked as though she’d benefit from her third at Doncaster, when well ahead of Miss Latin, but Hughie Morrison’s filly has to give 3lb to impressive York winner MAKAWEE (NAP), even though the latter carries a penalty. There is also plenty more come from the latter over this extra quarter-mile. Potters Lady Jane is an interesting runner with her second to Lucky Deal at Nottingham in October working out well. She’ll enjoy the going while Iconic Belle, who is fit from hurdling, looks the best of Philip Kirby’s pair.
