Verdict
Mokammal was an expensive failure on his reappearance at Wolverhampton but still finished almost two lengths ahead of Poetic Era. The latter’s stablemate RANGALI ISLAND could be the one to upset Sir Michael Stoute’s colt today, however, as he was far from disgraced in a decent handicap at Doncaster on his return to action and showed a similar level of form in three runs last year. Itizzit is already thoroughly exposed while Sweet Dreamer has been unlucky to come up against useful rivals in a Class 6 on her debut.
