O'Callaghan Strand won twice at Worcester earlier this year but his latest effort suggests he is just a couple of pounds too high in the weights now. Almutaham is only a four-year-old and can improve on a first hurdles success at Kelso in May, but Via Archimede is struggling to get his head in front and Varkala also keeps finding at least one too good. Dot Or Feather has been well beaten in all three starts under Rules so we'll give another chance to KAYF COMMANDER, who wasn't beaten far at Ludlow last time when attempting to follow up his Sedgefield defeat of the in-form Lucky Lukey. John Kington is one of the more experienced conditionals riding here and his mount looks sure to be thereabouts.
