A very competitive handicap that may go the way of Campaign Trail, with Cill Churnain and His Nibs selected as the main rivals. This lightly raced five-year-old overcame an 11 month absence when easily beating the race fit Kivotus in a decent handicap at Bangor nine days ago. He looks certain to improve and can land this before the handicapper gets his measure. Cill Churnain is having a great season having been successful at Market Rasen. Aintree and Kelso, he just does enough in his races so the handicapper hasn¿t been too severe, and he is weighted to go close again. Venetia Williams won the big handicap hurdle last Saturday and she is represented by His Nibs who landed a couple of decent events at Lingfield and Market Rasen before running a gallant fourth behind some useful animals at Cheltenham. Of the others Jazz D¿Estruval and Ambry are in good form but on this occasion the choice has to be Campaign Trail.
