A small field but once again it looks a very tight affair with Intrepid Mogal, The Kew Tour and Golden Rambler all holding strong claims, but for the winner we will side with Silver Knight. Tim Easterby's gelding loves a test of stamina as he proved when slaughtering his rivals over course and distance back in November. He returned to the track earlier this month and didn't do too badly over an inadequate trip when second to Our Armageddon, back over this longer distance he looks the one to beat. Intrepid Mogal comes here on the back of an impressive victory at Doncaster and should be in the firing line. Golden Rambler hasn't seen a racecourse for almost two years but hails from a top yard and this decent hurdler will have been well schooled for his chasing debut. However the main threat to the selection should be The Kew Tour, who made an uncharacteristic error at Doncaster last time but jumped superbly prior to that when winning over course and distance. The only other runner is Ossmoses who needs to improve dramatically to trouble the principals, the best of which should be Silver Knight.
